I'm not sure how many times I can say I love my Ninja Foodi Deluxe, but here I am again. That machine does it all! I have not even used all of its functions yet (I'm looking at you dehydrator) but the ones I have used (instant pot, air fryer, slow cooker, sous vide) all work perfectly and do exactly what they say they are going to do.
I recently picked up some turkey tenderloins on sale at the grocery store and knew cooking them in the air fryer was the way to go. This was such an easy way to prepare them and it didn't require warming up the house in the middle of summer!
The end result was moist turkey meat that was seasoned to perfection and ready to enjoy in less time than the oven would have required.
Thanksgiving dinner is truly one of my favorite meals of all time, and this is the perfect way to enjoy it on a smaller scale throughout the year.

Ingredients
I like to keep it simple when making an air fryer turkey tenderloin. 3 ingredients are all you need, the meat itself, some sort of fat to add moisture and flavor, and a seasoning of your choice.
Turkey breast tenderloin: You will find this cut of meat at the grocery store, generally in a vacuumed sealed type packaging. Often you will find it preseasoned, which works great as well. If that's the case, I would just add a little oil or butter on top.
Olive oil or butter: I used olive oil, but butter or ghee are great too. Pat down the turkey tenderloins first to remove excess moisture before coating them with fat.
Seasoning of choice. I purposely left this ambiguous because you really can use whatever seasoning blend you would like. Want traditional? Try a garlic and herb blend. Want spicy? Try cajun seasoning. Italian seasoning is a great blend as well. My favorite spice blends come from 360 Flavor and Spice.
How to cook turkey tenderloin in the air fryer
Remove from packaging and pat down meat with paper towels.
Coat turkey tenderloins with softened butter or olive oil.
With clean hands, liberally season with the seasoning blend of your choice.
Place in the air fryer basket and close lid.
Set to 380 degrees for 25 minutes cook time, flipping halfway through.
Remove turkey breast from the air fryer and set to the side to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
What temperature should turkey tenderloin be?
Just like chicken, turkey tenderloin should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. according to FDA guidelines.
You can use a meat thermometer to determine temperature.
How to serve
I love to serve this as paired down version of thanksgiving dinner, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a veggie. It's delicious with creamy mushroom risotto, as well.
I crave that meal all year round, and this is an easy way to enjoy it without making an entire turkey bird. I also do this with bone in chicken breast with garlic herb compound butter, as well.
This turkey can also be sliced and used to make turkey sandwiches, in turkey tetrazzini, or in place of cooked chicken in an salad recipe.
Storage
Store any leftover turkey breast tenderloins in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Reheat or enjoy cold!
When I reheat in the microwave, I like to add a tablespoon or two of broth over the top of the meat to prevent it from drying out.
