A simple way to prepare this cut of poultry, Air Fryer Turkey Tenderloin only takes 3 ingredients and less than 30 minutes for perfectly moist turkey meat ready to serve with mashed potatoes and gravy or on turkey sandwiches.
I'm not sure how many times I can say I love my Ninja Foodi Deluxe, but here I am again. That machine does it all! I have not even used all of its functions yet, but the ones I have used (instant pot, air fryer, slow cooker, sous vide, yogurt, dehydrator) all work perfectly and do exactly what they say they are going to do.
Air Frying turkey tenderloins is such an easy way to prepare them. The end result was moist turkey meat that was seasoned to perfection and ready to enjoy in less time than the oven would have required. Chicken tenderloins in the air fryer are super easy and flavorful, as well.
Thanksgiving dinner is truly one of my favorite meals of all time, and this is the perfect way to enjoy turkey on a smaller scale throughout the year or for a smaller gathering than cooking a whole turkey would require.

Ingredient Notes
I like to keep it simple when making an air fryer turkey tenderloin. 3 ingredients are all you need, the meat itself, some sort of fat to add moisture and flavor, and a seasoning of your choice.
- Turkey breast tenderloin: You will find this cut of meat at the grocery store, generally in a vacuumed sealed type packaging. Often you will find it preseasoned, which works great as well. If that's the case, I would just add a little oil or butter on top.
- Olive oil or butter: I used olive oil, but butter or ghee are great too. Pat down the turkey tenderloins first to remove excess moisture before coating them with fat.
- Seasoning of choice. I purposely left this ambiguous because you really can use whatever seasoning blend you would like. Want traditional? Try a garlic and herb blend. Want spicy? Try cajun seasoning. Italian seasoning is a great blend as well.

How to cook turkey tenderloin in the air fryer
Step 1. Remove from packaging and pat down meat with paper towels. Coat turkey tenderloins with softened butter or olive oil.
Step 2. With clean hands, liberally season with the seasoning blend of your choice.
Step 3. Place in the air fryer basket and close lid. Set to 380 degrees for 25 minutes cook time, flipping halfway through.
Step 4. Remove turkey breast from the air fryer and set to the side to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Recipe Tips
- Allowing the meat to rest allows the juices to redistribute and makes for better tasting, moist turkey.
- This recipe can be used with any seasoning, herbes de provence, cajun seasoning, italian seasoning, greek seasoning, you name it!
How to serve
I love to serve this as paired down version of thanksgiving dinner, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a veggie.
I crave that meal all year round, and this is an easy way to enjoy it without making an entire turkey bird. I also do this with bone in chicken breast with garlic herb compound butter, as well.
This turkey can also be sliced and used to make turkey sandwiches, in turkey tetrazzini, or in place of cooked chicken in an salad recipe.
It's delicious with creamy mushroom risotto, as well.
Recipe FAQs
Store any leftover turkey breast tenderloins in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Reheat or enjoy cold (it's great sliced up for sandwiches).
When I reheat in the microwave, I like to add a tablespoon or two of broth over the top of the meat to prevent it from drying out. You can also reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes, or until warm.
Just like chicken, turkey tenderloin should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. according to FDA guidelines. You can use a meat thermometer to determine temperature.
