Simple and healthy, Slow Cooker Greek Chicken Gyros are fall apart tender chicken thighs seasoned with onions, spices, and broth for a quick crockpot protein that is low carb, low fat, and highly delicious!
– 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken thighs – 1 small onion, thinly sliced – 1 ½ tsp. dried dill – 1 ½ tsp. dried oregano – 1 ½ tsp. dried basil – 4 garlic cloves, minced – 2 tbsp. olive oil – 1 lemon, juiced – 1 tsp. salt – 1 tsp. black pepper
COOK TIME: 3 hours
INGREDIENTS
Place chicken thighs into the slow cooker along with sliced onions.
In a small bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, dried herbs, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Pour mixture over top of chicken.
Cook chicken thighs for 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low, the chicken will be fall apart tender.
