Buttery and pillowy soft crescent roll dough is topped with a cream cheese ranch sauce, veggies, and cheese for a delicious cold veggie pizza (crescent roll dough) appetizer!
An easy appetizer is an important part of any home cook's arsenal. This Cold Veggie Pizza is quick to prepare, easy to transport, and can be made ahead of time.
Ingredients for Cold Veggie Pizza
- refrigerator crescent rolls
- cream cheese
- greek yogurt
- ranch seasoning
- carrot
- broccoli
- shredded monterey jack cheese
- green onions
So how do you make Veggie Pizza? It's simple!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
On a 9x13 sheet pan, lay out sheets of crescent roll dough and press to seal the edges to make one large crust. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden brown.
While dough is cooking, combine softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and ranch seasoning in a small bowl. Try this homemade ranch seasoning if you are so inclined!
Finely dice carrots and broccoli (a food processor would speed up the process!)
Allow cooked dough to cool slightly and then spread cream cheese mixture across the top.
Top cooked crescent roll pizza crust with carrots, broccoli, cheese, and then thinly sliced green onions.
Serve cold.
Substitutions/variations
While you can use any vegetables, I used carrots, broccoli and green onions. This is my favorite combo!
Other options could be bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, even mushrooms!
