Like many Ninja Creami recipes, this recipe starts off with a vanilla ice cream base and peanut butter is whisked in to create something totally new! So grab your favorite peanut butter and let's get started.
This recipe is similar to the one you will find from ninja test kitchen, with a little more peanut butter and a little less sugar. If you want to make your peanut butter ice cream sweet, add up to ½ cup granulated sugar.
So while this is not technically a "healthy peanut butter ice cream" it is better for you in that it is made with all whole ingredients and less sugar than store bought!

Here's what you will need:
Ingredients Ninja Creami Peanut Butter Ice Cream
- Cream Cheese
- Vanilla Extract
- Sugar
- Heavy Cream
- Whole Milk
- Peanut Butter (any kind, smooth or chunky)
How to Make Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Microwave the cream cheese in a microwave safe dish for 10 seconds.
To a bowl, add softened cream cheese along with granulated sugar and vanilla. Mix well until it resembles frosting. At that point, whisk in peanut butter until totally combined.
Carefully whisk in heavy cream and whole milk, taking care that everything is fully incorporated.
Pour ice cream base into the Ninja Creami pint container and secure lid. Place in the freezer, making sure it is level so that the mixture doesn't freeze above the fill line. Allow to freeze for at least 24 hours.
Once frozen, remove lid and place pint into the outer bowl of the device. Secure lid with blades and turn on the device. Select the "ice cream" function and allow to go through the entire cycle.
If the ice cream appears crumbly, respin if necessary. Enjoy!

How to make nut free peanut butter ice cream

To make this easy homemade peanut butter ice cream nut free, simply sub in sunflower butter or soy butter at a 1:1 ratio and omit the peanut butter.
