Jerk Chicken Wraps are an easy lunch option with a bit of caribbean flair. Made with spicy seasoned chicken, mango salsa, and veggies wrapped in a tortilla, this is a quick 5 minute lunch that has flavor to spare!
I'm back with another jerk flavored recipe that I know you guys are going to love.
You all know my love for all things jamaican jerk, from Instant Pot Jamaican Jerk Chicken to Jerk Shrimp Rasta Pasta.
These jerk chicken wraps are inspired by a similar chicken wrap that is sold at Whole Foods. But by making them that home, you can make them for a fraction of the price as well as customize them to your liking.
These wraps are super simple to prepare and are great way to use leftover chicken for a super easy protein packed lunch. They are spicy, creamy, and the mango salsa on top is the perfect amount of sweet to offset the salty spice of the jerk seasoning.

Ingredients
- Cooked Chicken- I love using rotisserie chicken for dishes like this, simply because it is so easy. But any kind of cooked chicken with work here.
- Jerk Seasoning- I used my favorite Walkerswood jerk seasoning to flavor the chicken. It has a very concentrated flavor, so make sure you mix well. You can use a dry jerk seasoning as well, just use less than the wet, or it will overpower the dish.
- Cream Cheese- A bit of cream cheese is a great spread here that helps everything to stick together.
- Mango Salsa- The whole foods version uses mango chutney (also delicious) but I like the freshness that mango salsa adds. You can use homemade mango salsa or store bought.
- Red Onion- Any type of onion will do, but I typically think red onion goes best with things like salads and wraps.
- Butter Lettuce- Butter lettuce is great on wraps, just a few of the big lettuce leaves will cover the whole wrap.
- Tortilla- Use a large tortilla to fit all of that goodness in!
How to Make Jerk Chicken Wraps
Step 1. To a small mixing bowl, add shredded chicken and jerk seasoning. Stir to coat the chicken in the seasoning paste.
Step 2. Warm a large tortilla and spread a thin layer of cream cheese over top.
Step 3. Add lettuce.
Step 4. Scoop on chicken
Step 5. Add mango salsa and sliced red onion.
Step 6. Roll up the wrap and enjoy.
Recipe Tips
- Jerk seasonings vary in heat level, chose one to your liking.
- If you want to make these wraps low carb, skip the tortilla and make them chicken lettuce wraps instead.
- Warming the tortilla up first helps make it more pliable.
- If you want more of a sauce to these wraps, add a drizzle of jerk marinade. The flavor is less strong than the seasoning paste, and it is often sweeter.
How to Serve
These caribbean jerk lettuce wraps are a great on their own. But if you want to make a meal out of them you could serve them with chips, veggie straws, fruit, a side salad, or a cup of soup.
Storage
These wraps are a great make ahead dish that you can double or triple to enjoy through the week.
Tightly roll them up in foil and keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
