Simple Ground Chicken Spaghetti takes this classic weeknight dinner and uses ground chicken instead of ground beef. Add your favorite marinara sauce along with some extra seasonings for an easy family favorite that can be made in less than 20 minutes.
This ground chicken pasta has a rich, tomato sauce just like in traditional beef ragu. With the right seasonings and a secret ingredient (worcestershire sauce!) it tastes just like the original. It's a great option for a leaner protein source.

Why You'll Love this Recipe
- Quick- For when you need dinner on the table in 15 minutes, this ground chicken spaghetti recipe has your back.
- Minimal Ingredients- Only a handful of ingredients here.
- Easy- Very little prep work involved in making this, and no chopping!
- Family Friendly- This recipe is perfect for the whole family, from your pickiest to most adventurous eaters.
- High Protein- Ground chicken is filling and protein packed.
Ingredients
- Ground Chicken- Ground turkey or ground beef could both be used as well. It's also great with ground venison, or check out this recipe for Venison Ragu.
- Oil- Because ground chicken is so lean, be sure to brown it in some fat for extra flavor and color on the meat. I suggest either avocado oil or olive oil.
- Spices- Season the sauce with a blend of garlic powder, paprika, and italian seasoning.
- Worcestershire sauce- This is the secret ingredient that gives the sauce an extra meaty, almost beefy taste. Worcestershire sauce is made from anchovies, malt vinegar, tamarind, among other things. It has a strong, salty flavor, and is a common condiment used on burgers and steak.
- Marinara Sauce- Use your favorite kinda here, my preference will always be Rao's Homemade. I love it in Chicken Parmesan with Rao's Marinara Sauce and as a pizza sauce in Easy Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza (Cast Iron Skillet).
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1. In a large saucepan or dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and brown, breaking up the meat as it cooks.
Step 2. When the meat is cooked through, add spices and stir. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 3. Add worcestershire sauce and scrape up any brown bits stuck to the bottom of the pot.
Step 4. Pour in jar of marinara sauce. Bring to a low simmer and let cook for 10 minutes to allow all the flavors to deepen. While the sauce is simmering, prepare pasta according to the packaging instructions. Pour finished ground chicken sauce over the cooked pasta and enjoy.
What to Pair with Ground Chicken Spaghetti
Serve this however you would serve your regular spaghetti dinner! I like to pair it with garlic bread and a side salad.
