Pizza Stuffed Chicken

Pizza Stuffed Chicken has juicy chicken breasts stuffed with cheese and pepperoni and lots of rich marinara sauce. This 5-ingredient dinner is incredibly easy to prepare but is so delicious it is sure to become a new family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz. pepperoni slices

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and then using a sharp knife, carefully slice a pocket in each breast, leaving about a half inch on the sides that you don't cut through.
  • Tuck half of the pepperoni into each pocket, along with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella.
  • Pour marinara sauce into an oven safe baking dish. Place each stuffed chicken breast on top.
  • Sprinkle italian seasoning over top both chicken breast and then top with remaining cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bakke for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
