Soy Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • ½ tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Pat wings dry with a paper towel and place them into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl combine baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Pour mixture over chicken wings, and toss to coat thoroughly.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet and put in the preheated oven, Bake for 35-40 minutes or until cooked through.
  • While the chicken wings are baking, prepare the sauce.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add minced garlic, and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. Add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, cornstarch, and honey. Whisk to thicken and for for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Pour sauce over wings and use tongs to coat all of the wings with the wing sauce.
  • Serve immediately.
