This sirloin tip roast in the slow cooker is perfectly tender, richly, flavored, and super simple to make. A family favorite crock pot beef roast with gravy is perfect for serving with potatoes or crusty bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ lb. sirloin tip roast
  • 1 yellow onion sliced
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp. herbes de provence
  • ½ tbsp. paprika

Instructions

  • To the slow cooker add roast, sliced onions, minced garlic, butter, red wine, soy sauce, herbes de provence, paprika.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or until fork tender.
  • Shred meat using two forks and stir to incorporate with the au jus.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, butter noodles, or alongside crusty bread.
