Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels

Jalapeno Popper Pinwheels are a fun take on the classic appetizer with all of its delicious components including spicy fresh jalapenos, cream cheese, and bacon all rolled up in a tortilla for an easy grab and go snack.

Ingredients

  • 5 tortillas
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • ½ cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 jalapenos minced
  • ½ cup crumbled bacon about 5-6 strips

Instructions

  • To a mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and greek yogurt and mixing together until completely combined. You can use a hand mixer or a whisk.
  • Stir in salt, onion power, and garlic powder.
  • Add crumbled bacon, minced jalapeno, and shredded cheese. Stir to combine.
  • Place tortilla on your work service and add ⅕ of the mixture to the middle of the tortilla and use a small spatula to spread it in an even layer. Roll up tightly.
  • Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
  • Wrap tightly in foil or plastic wrap. You can wrap them individually or all together. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.
  • When you are ready to serve, unwrap the roll ups. Use a sharp knife to trim the ends, and then cut each tortilla into 1 inch pinwheels and serve.
