- 3 lbs. Chicken drumsticks
- ⅓ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Honey
- 1 Lime juice and zest
- 5 Garlic cloves minced
- 2 tbsp. green onions minced
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. avocado oil or any neutral oil
Combine marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour over top of chicken drumsticks, making sure they are evenly coated. Keep in bowl or place into a ziploc bag to ensure they are fully covered in the marinade.
Refrigerate for at least an hour and up to overnight.
When you are ready to cook, preheat oven to 400 F. Place chicken drumsticks into a baking dish along with any remaining marinade.
Bake for 1 hour, flipping them halfway through. The internal temperature of the chicken should measure 180-185 degrees when using a meat thermometer.
Serve as is, or place under the broiler on High for 3-4 minutes to crisp up the skin. Be sure to watch closely to avoid burning.
