Crispy Garlic and Butter Green Beans

These crispy garlic butter garlic green beans are simple and full of flavor. This restaurant style green bean recipe is an easy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb. fresh green beans ends trimmed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 6 garlic cloves sliced

Instructions

  • Slice garlic thinly and set to the side. Clean and trim ends off of green beans, but leave whole.
  • In a large skillet, add butter and turn the heat on medium. Once the butter is hot, add garlic and fry for 3-4 minutes until it is golden brown and crispy. Remove garlic to a plate and add green beans to butter.
  • Leave green beans cooking for 10 minutes until they begin to brown and are cooked through to your desired doneness level. You may need to cover the pan to help the cooking process along.
  • Generously add salt and pepper and stir to coat.
