Instant Pot Wheat Berries

Instant Pot Wheat Berries are simple to prepare and come out perfectly cooked with minimal effort. Wheat berries are nutty and full of fiber!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry wheat berries
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp. salt optional

Instructions

  • Sort through your wheat berries and remove any bad ones or other debris.
  • Add wheat berries to the instant pot and cover with water. Add salt, if desired.
  • Place pressure cooker lid on top and make sure the nozzle is in the sealing designation.
  • Set to high pressure for a cook time of 35 minutes. It will take several minutes to come up to pressure.
  • After the cook time is up, carefully quick release to let out the pressure.
  • Remove the lid and drain any remaining water.
  • Use cooked wheat berries immediately or store in the fridge for later use.
