- 1 cup dry wheat berries
- 3 cups water
- 1 tsp. salt optional
Sort through your wheat berries and remove any bad ones or other debris.
Add wheat berries to the instant pot and cover with water. Add salt, if desired.
Place pressure cooker lid on top and make sure the nozzle is in the sealing designation.
Set to high pressure for a cook time of 35 minutes. It will take several minutes to come up to pressure.
After the cook time is up, carefully quick release to let out the pressure.
Remove the lid and drain any remaining water.
Use cooked wheat berries immediately or store in the fridge for later use.
