- 1 ½ lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 10.5 oz. can cream of chicken condensed soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 box Stove Top brand stuffing chicken or turkey
Place chicken breasts down into the crockpot bowl.
In a small mixing bowl, combine cream soup and sour cream until fully mixed.
Pour mixture over top of chicken breasts.
Pour on dry stuffing mix, but do not mix together. Close lid.
Set to a cook time of 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low.
Shred chicken (it will be very tender), stir together, and enjoy!
- Please be aware that both box stuffing and most cream soups have high sodium contents. This is why I didn't add any additional salt to this dish. If this is a concern for you, you may want to look for low sodium versions of these ingredients.
- The stuffing on top will cook from the steam of the slow cooker. If you want, you can also pour ¼ cup chicken broth or water over top of the stuffing before cooking to add a bit more liquid to the dish.
