Spicy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

This Better than Takeout Spicy Beef and Broccoli recipe is full of broccoli florets, tender sirloin, and loads of sweet and spicy sauce.

S Stir fry – 1 ½ lb. thin-sliced sirloin tip – 2 tbsp. corn starch – 2 tbsp. grapeseed oil or any mild oil – 4 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets – ¼ cup beef broth – 4 cloves garlic minced – 4 green onions diced Sauce – 1 tsp. cornstarch – ¼ cup brown sugar – ½ cup soy sauce – 1-2 tbsp. Sambal Oelek chili paste

Step 1

In a medium sized bowl, add cornstarch and sliced beef and mix with hands until fully coated.

In a large skillet, heat oil and quickly fry beef pieces. Add broccoli and garlic and cook until crisp tender.

Add beef broth and scrap up any bits on the bottom of the pan.

Step 4

In a small bowl, combine corn starch, brown sugar, soy sauce, and chili paste. Stir and pour over the top of veggies and meat.

Simmer until veggies are cooked to your liking. About a minute before taking off the heat, add in the sliced green onions and stir.
