Roast Turkey with Garlic and Herb Compound Butter is a simple way to prepare a turkey in a flavorful and moist way.

– 18 lb. turkey – carrots – celery – lemon – onion – fresh sage – fresh rosemary – fresh thyme – butter (2 sticks) – fresh garlic – fresh sage – fresh thyme – fresh rosemary – olive oil – salt – fresh ground black pepper

COOK TIME: 3.5 hours

Step 1

Make a  lemon herb compound butter and cover the turkey in it, under and over the skin.

Place buttered turkey in roasting pan and stuff with onions, carrots, celery, lemons, and herbs.

Roast turkey until the skin is brown and it has an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
