Meatballs Baked in an Egg Carton
What You'll Need
– 1 egg – 1 lb. ground beef – 2 tablespoon whole milk – ¼ cup bread crumbs – 1 half of a small onion minced or grated – ½ tablespoon dried Italian seasoning – ⅓ cup parmesan cheese – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon pepper – 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped 1 cardboard egg carton
Why bake meatballs in an egg carton?
This method helps drain some of the fat off of the meatballs, it also helps them retain their round shape!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Form meatballs (about the size of golfballs) and place in paper egg carton.
Place egg carton on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven, discard carton, and serve in your favorite recipes!
