Creamy Scalloped Potatoes with Leeks

Potatoes au Gratin has thinly sliced russet potatoes baked between layers of leeks, cheese, and heavy cream.

– 2 tbs. butter, divided – 1 lb. russet potatoes (about 3 medium sized potatoes) – 1 cup heavy cream – 1 cup milk – 3 cups cleaned, sliced leeks – 1 tsp. sea salt – ½ tsp. fresh cracked black pepper – 1 ½ cups Monterey Jack or Gruyere cheese – 1 garlic clove, minced – 3 tbs. freshly grated parmesan cheese

COOK TIME: 50 min

Prepare cream sauce with leeks

Slice potatoes thinly

layer potatoes, cheese, cream sauce.

repeat until ingredients are used up

Bake at 375 for 50 minutes
